In 2018, I've started my medical studies at the University of Marburg, with an anticipated graduation in 2025. Now it led me to the Psycontrol Lab, where I've begun my Medical Doctor (MD) program in April 2023. During my MD, my primary focus will revolve around investigating the effects of Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT). To explore this subject thoroughly, we’ll be utilizing a variety of research methods, including blood samples, hair probes, and fMRI scans. 

My current work focuses on electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and its profound effects on hormones and neurotransmitters, particularly cortisol and prolactin, as well as serotonin and dopamine. The goal of this research is to unravel the intricate mechanisms underlying the effects of ECT on these important neurotransmitter systems and to explore potential strategies for improving the treatment of depression.
